DBT, which stands for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is a broad-based cognitive-behavioral treatment known for its effectiveness in helping individuals who experience chronic emotional dysregulation and/or a pattern of self-destructive behaviors. 

DBT has been found to be an effective treatment for a variety of mental health conditions including depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, substance issues, eating disorders, self-harm and suicidal ideation, PTSD, as well as ADHD and executive functioning issues.   DBT can include individual therapy and group skills training. It requires a commitment of time, money, and prioritization, AND the therapeutic benefits can be LIFELONG!
