Many, if not most of us have experienced an unexpected life change, crisis, or traumatic event at some point in our lives. Often these events can have a lasting negative impact that interferes with the way one interprets the world and the way he or she might relate to others and their environment. It’s as if we trap ourselves in our past experiences hindering our ability to be adaptive creatures that respond with creativity to our present circumstances.
My practice is dedicated to helping individuals work through “fixed” associations from one’s past – those unyielding beliefs, feelings, or experiences that are likely the remnants of a difficult time in one’s life or a traumatic event from one’s past.
